|I’ve been writing since I could hold a pencil. Early masterpieces include “Al Dente,” the touching story of a young noodle’s journey from pasta factory to dinner plate, and multiple mysteries which indicate I may have read too many as a kid. Currently, I write fiction for young adults. My stories still have mysteries, but so far, no noodles.
I grew up in Southern California, land of nice beaches, the Dodgers, and In-n-Out burgers. Now I live in Central Texas, where instead, we have ancient oak trees, college football, and excellent BBQ.
|When I’m not reading and writing, I love to travel, be outdoors (but not in Texas in the summer), drink chai lattes, and watch science fiction shows on TV. I love international missions and stories of God working around the world.
I met my wonderful husband at Baylor University, and we return often for sporting events – sic ‘em, Bears! Until recently, I worked in state politics at one of the prettiest buildings in Texas. And I love to daydream about new stories, which hopefully means I’ll have plenty of writing material for years to come!
